The office empowers cooperative prototyping

According to MIT Provost Cynthia Barnhart, “Eric is a gifted and impactful leader who has transferred advances in innovation and research beyond the borders of the lab, in service to the world.”

The number of research collaborations between Lincoln Laboratory and MIT’s campus has nearly quadrupled in the past 15 years. The lab has extended coordinated effort by giving subsidizing to grounds research, making large numbers of its offices accessible for grounds specialists, supporting undergrad and graduate instructing, and suggesting new exploration conversation starters.

As a piece of that cooperation, Lincoln Research facility joined forces with MIT’s School of Designing in 2013 to lay out the Beaver Works Center at MIT. The office empowers cooperative prototyping and innovation improvement by MIT analysts and Lincoln Research facility specialized staff.
