“Separator the board is a center piece of each and every solver, except this is an undervalued part of the issue space. One of the commitments of this work is distinguishing the issue of separator the board as an AI undertaking regardless,” she says.
She and her coworkers came up with a filtering mechanism that cuts this separator search space down to about 20 options from more than 130,000 possible combinations. This filtering mechanism is based on the idea of diminishing marginal returns, which states that a small number of algorithms would provide the greatest benefit, and adding more algorithms won’t significantly improve things.
Then they utilize an AI model to pick the best blend of calculations from among the 20 leftover choices.
