In-demand jobs without the advanced degree

The San Antonio Report and San Antonio Lady Magazine have joined forces to make a progression of three top to bottom articles checking out at the STEM environment in San Antonio. Patty Garcia began her professional life in 1988, when CPS Energy was still known as City Public Service, as a lineworker. She assisted in the manual installation of the underground steel gas pipes and conduits that deliver natural gas and electricity to homes.

“I’ve forever been a regular laborer,” said Garcia, who moved on from Lanier Secondary School. ” I generally needed to work for CPS Energy, even in those days.”
